Testimonies
Hi! I’m Eric Trott. My wife Doris and I got married in 1993. We moved from Delhi to Gurgaon in 1996. When we came to live here we had just one daughter who was a little over a year old. By the grace of God we now have three kids, two daughters and a son. They are Amanda, Deborah and Joshua.
Until 1999 we used to fellowship with a church in Delhi. However, we were earnestly praying for God to give us a local church here in Gurgaon where we could belong and grow. So when the Lord spoke to David Dayalan in 1999 about church planting in Gurgaon, for us it was a direct answer to our prayer. Gurgaon Christian Fellowship Church (GCFC) was planted on December 31st, 1999 and was inaugurated with an overnight service. We have been members of GCFC since then.
Now when we look back on the years we have been with GCFC we have so much to praise God for that space here will not permit the mention of it all. God has indeed worked amazingly in our family through GCFC especially by rooting and grounding us in His Word. We have grown and are growing spiritually each day both as individuals and as a family through the various ministries of the church. Not only have we been discipled and built up but my wife and I have been well equipped here for His ministry. We truly praise God for all that GCFC has been and will be for us in the future. Praise the LORD!

Hi. Neelima, Baby Joanna and I live in Gurgaon, a city that has exploded into existence after becoming home ground to some of India’s largest BPOs since late 90’s. We landed in this busy metropolis in 2002, with hardly any clue about the experiences that life had in store for us. We are sincerely grateful to God for leading us to Gurgaon Christian Fellowship (GCF) which has been our anchor since the start. Looking back at our spiritual journey the past
years in Gurgaon, we are thankful for how immensely God used his church to guard us from the world, carry us through tough times, encourage us through weary days, join us in sorrow and laughter, equip us to reach out to the world and most importantly grow us into the likeness of His son – our savior. Amen.

I still feel nostalgic, about my times in Gurgaon. I (we) have not forgotten my
(our) life changing times in Gurgaon, I (we) constantly remember Gurgaon
Christian Fellowship Church (GCFC) in my
(our) individual (family) prayer.
I can never forget my evenings with Shekar, when we used to go out to Kapashera
to our friends there. I hope and pray that the seeds (word of God) that we had
planted in some of our friends, would have led them to know the Lord.
Another powerful outreach used to be the evening outings to the gardens, malls
and worshiping God (Lifting Christ ) and believing that God would open the
hearts of the people who are in the vicinity to receive His love. I hope and
pray that GCFC is continuing this initiative. This is also a model that I share
with the church to reach out to the unbelieving people. I hope the Christmas and
Easter outreaches are still on.
I always give the example of the Kanahi village ministry, how persistence (in
love) and prayer led to the formation of the House group, and subsequently a
church (I hope and pray that the church in Kanahi is growing). We want to
reproduce this model here (in Germany) amongst the drug addicts. Hope and pray
we would be able to be make an impact amongst the drug addicts in Frankfurt, by
persistence and prayer. Every Friday we prayerfully take food to the drug
addicts, and minister to them. We want to start a Bible study and a Church for
this group.
I can also never forget the teachings that I (we) had in Gurgaon Christian
Fellowship, it helped me (us) to grow into a better person. I always admired
Pastor David's message which would always be fresh and appropriate to the
situation. I hope and pray that God would continue to use him for his glory in
Gurgaon. I also appreciate the clear and strong messages of other preachers in
GCFC.
When I came to Gurgaon, I had only 300 Rupees and I was single. When I left
Gurgaon, I had a huge truck load of goods and a beautiful wife. So I say that my
years in Gurgaon was really a blessing. I appreciate the role (persistent prayer
and emotional support) that the church (GCFC) had played during my stay in Gurgaon.
I also appreciate the strong pre-marital and marital counseling, that I had in
GCFC (this had helped me become a better family man). Germany is a country with
a high number of broken family (even amongst Christians), We are currently
mobilizing people for prayer, also that the Churches in Germany would also play
an active role (like GCFC) in counseling the single and married. We are planning
to have fasting and prayer from 26th of August till 2nd of September. Germany
also has a very poor birth rate (This again is because of the fact that the high
divorce rate, and broken families. There is a general phobia that weddings will
end in divorce).
I thank GCFC for being my extended family in Gurgaon.
May God continue to bless and use you for His glory

Hi!
"I am Vinod, residing
in Gurgaon since November 2004, I recently got married to a wonderful person in
Sept last year. I must admit she being with me today is because of God's grace
and wonderful ways he worked to get us together. Initially we wandered in search
of a Church where we could share our experiences with GOD for he has done
wonders in our life.
We got introduced
to Gurgaon Christian Fellowship Church (GCFC) in October 2007 through one of
our relative (We are sincerely grateful to GOD for leading us to them
(relative) for they have been helpful to us in more ways than one) .
The first day when me
and my wife entered the GCFC service in South City-I, Country Club we
immediately knew that this is the place we always wanted to be and trust me the
very first day each and every member present in the service welcomed us with a
smile on their face and most importantly a big heart. We went to the Church
knowing only one person (Samson) but came out knowing more people than we could
think of. Since then we are continuing to thoroughly enjoy the fellowship with
GCFC. We have attended House Groups, Youth Fellowship and very recently Married
Couples Fellowship each and every moment has amazed us and we feel connected to
GOD. We have come to realize our responsibilities towards GOD and ways to
accomplish it. Must mention that the preaching's by Pastor David Dayalan,
Brother Eric Trott and all Guest Preachers have taught us so many things and
enlightened us. They have changed the way we look at our life, work and family
through the word of GOD. We are ever thankful to GOD for guiding us to Gurgaon
Christian Fellowship Church (GCFC).
Since the last few
months through GCFC we feel blessed, happy and closer to GOD. We are proud to be
a part of this GCFC family. I strongly suggest and recommend if any of you are
new to Gurgaon or living in Gurgaon and looking for a good Church to fellowship
with, LOOK NO FURTHER it is in your neighborhood."

My first tryst
to Gurgaon was in 2003 for almost a year and unfortunately I couldn't find a
church to be part of. Traveling all the way to Delhi turned out to be quite
hectic and along with the other 'busyness' in life I eventually become a
'churchless' Christian. That turned out to be the driest season in my spiritual
life.
Later in 2007
circumstances came up in life that I had to take up a new job in Gurgaon. Only
now I realize actually it was God closing all the doors and keeping only one
open which was according to His will. Not a believer in coincidence, I saw God
working again when my accommodation turned out to be in South City 1, just a
minute walk from GCF.
GCF turned out
to be what exactly I was looking for. With great worship services and lots of
midweek activities like house groups and youth programs, I have now a bunch of
brothers and sisters to walk and share my faith. Almost another year now, and
looking back, I can only thankfully praise God for all his mercies and blessing
on me. I can boldly say now God brought me here for a purpose and prayerfully
surrendering myself into His mighty hands.

in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths."
